Roll up!  Roll up!  It's Circus Camp...

Ok, well, not just yet, so hold your horses....

it is unfortunately looking unlikely we will be able to run camp in 2021.

We are sorry but cannot see us running circus camp this year. This is due to many things, all of which are out of our control and which we cannot change. We look forward to bouncing back in style for 2022 Circus Camp, so please do get in touch with Vicki if you wish to be on our mailing list, and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

The following info is from our 2019 camp. Do have a read through to find out what it is like, but know that it will be updated when our next camp is ready to book.
What is Circus Camp?

Circus Camp is a family circus skills camp aimed primarily at home educating families, all set in a beautiful field near Watton in Norfolk, with camping in the adjacent field.  We (Sarah & Cosmo from The Foolhardies) home educate our youngest son, so we like to put this event on to bring together more people to meet and play circus with us!

It is a relaxed, safe, fun filled week with dedicated age-specific circus skills training workshops for the participants between 10am and 4pm Wednesday to Saturday, culminating in performances to show off what you’ve learnt. No previous circus experience is needed, just the desire to have a go!

After the workshops, we’ll have other circus related activities (including taster circus skills sessions for all adults and any non-participating children over 9 years), and then fab evening circus shows, talent shows, discos, storytelling and more, followed by campfire stories, singing and acoustic music, plus a circus fire skills display too.

There is also a colourful circus inspired area for the under 4s, a craft barn for all ages, our circus cinema in another barn, and other facilities including our fab cosy info tent with free tea and coffee all week, sofas to lounge on, free hugs and good conversation with other home-ed families, plus a small shop selling circus equipment and a few small pocket money items.

We’ll be welcoming arrivals from 1pm to 5pm on the Tuesday, with the Welcome Meeting at 7pm followed by bonfire and the circus cinema. This will give everyone time to set up camp and settle in before workshops begin on Wednesday morning. The Panic end of week children's own performance will be on Sunday morning and the Foolhardy end of week children's performance will be on Sunday early afternoon, after which it will be farewell once again, till next time..

We always sell out quickly, so do book your tickets early.

Ok, well, much to organise and all very exciting.  Anyone who wishes to get involved and help run this event is welcome to get in touch.  We love helpers!
See you all at camp.

Much love,

Sarah, Cosmo, Vicki and Lucas xxxx
