The Foolhardy Folk clowns and circus have been together for over twenty years and during that time have amassed a wealth of skills and experiences which we bring to our performances and  circus workshops.

The Foolhardy Folk clowns and circus have been together for over twenty years and during that time have amassed a wealth of skills and experiences which we bring to our performances and  circus workshops.

We have Performanced at venues throughout the world. As far afield as Thailand, and Newcastle, and venues that include 2000 seat theatres and circus tents, shopping centres festivals and streets.

Our workshops can be tailored to your needs be it a drama group or under tens at a play scheme.We can  cater for all ages from 5 years up to 95 years or higher if there is a demand from you centenarians out there.
We also have experience working with disabled children and ADHD children running very recently successful play schemes with Suffolk Social Services.

Foolhardy Folk ClownsAct Name: The Foolhardy Folk Clown Troupe

Type of Act: Clown Troupe

The Foolhardy Clowns blend slapstick, tumbling and circus skills to create a cartonesque landscape in which the audience is invited to join in and explore the child within and the laughter of the child without.

We present Entree clown routines which can last any time from 20 minutes to an hour. We are equally at home in the big top, the street or in a theatre.

Our routines include :-

Diving off a ladder into a bucket of water, The House! yes it collapses just like the Buster Keaton gag, Decorators slosh galore, Juggling on the shoulders an excuse for tumbling mayhem..

And many many more.

For walkabout we have a whole host of characters.

The Old Victorian Gentlemen, The Spacemen, Comedy Spies, The Clown Family, Hans and Fritz.

The philosophical janitors, the Norfolk Farmers, Spaghetti and Marcel from the Moulin Rouge show and Medieval Troubadours.
