Foolhardy Folk Circus CRISP Circus Arts fit happily alongside many aspects of the national curriculum and with any accelerated learning methods you may already use, helping to blend many traditionally text book taught subjects in with physical representations of the lesson, through learning whilst having fun and ‘playing’ in an informal setting. To this end we have devised a flexible school-based structure of workshops which can last anything from one hour per class, to a days workshop covering all classes, through to a more intensive one or two week residency for the whole school culminating in a show/presentation for parents and teachers at the end. Big Top The residencies are more involved, and include a focus on the artistic side of circus as well as on the actual circus skills. We can aim the workshops at specific areas of learning should you request it, or we can open them up to all aspects of learning across the board.
